A friend of mine shared this with me. It's painted on a wall in Montreuil, France, a bit outside Paris. It could be a coincidence, but WOW.
I've been working on this piece for a while now. I had to put it down for a family trip and market-opening prep, but I'm back to the studio (yaay!) and am trying to figure out if this is done: I love this painting. I'm trying to figure out if it is better the way it is, or if I should add words like so many of my other pieces. I'm also not 100% sure of the phrase "You're so Sweet" either. ("Sweet Dreams" is coming soon with a nice clown picture in the near future, so I didn't want to...
I'm going to be back at Portland Saturday Market this year. Starting... this Saturday (and Sunday)! I'll be in space 808 for the whole year, too, so I'll be easy to find. I'll be along the north side of the Ankeny park block section (kinda up near Skidmore Fountain.) Under the biggest darn tree in the park. Also! I am a featured artist for the Market this month on the website. Awesome sauce!
I've overtaken most of Casie's Café in Gresham, Oregon for the month of February with original paintings and large framed versions of my inspirational prints. Isn't it time you finally got out to Gresham and checked out the cute little downtown? All my art is for sale (of course) and can be purchased through the café. They'll even take plastic. And treat yourself to some yummy food, too. They have a cheese board... Magic Carpets that Pass in the Night - come see it (and more!) at Casie's Café
